One Direction Delighted By Olympics Closing Ceremony

One Direction chuffed by Olympic Closing Ceremony



Last night, the country were treated to a whole truckload of One Direction. They arrived in the opening stages of the London Olympics Closing Ceremony to deafening screams before launching into What Makes You Beautiful. They also did that half dancing, half smouldering thing they do so well.
Harry was overjoyed to be involved in the best of British ceremony, tweeting afterwards: “That was SIIIIIICCKKK!!!!!”
He added: “Last night was the biggest performance of our careers, thank you for making it happen”



Louis was also ecstatic to be there, tweeting: "Last night was unbelievable. I cannot believe we had the honour to perform at the Olympics! Has to be one of the best nights off my life!

And continued: “You guys got us the gig at the Olympics. Can't thank you all enough!”
Irish Niall Horan , who happened to be the one non-British performer during the ceremony (apart from everyone in that bizarre Brazilian segment), was also mesmerised.
He tweeted: “Omg that was unbelievable,highlight of out career, and the biggest audience we will ever play to 1 billion people! #ThankYouLondon2012”
He added: “Met soo many incredible people today! The who, brian may, spice girls, take that! Liam Gallagher, just a day none of us will ever forget”
