One Direction is all smiles as they celebrate reaching 12 million sales worldwide in less than a year!
The guys — Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne — were each presented with a special disc by Syco and Sony Music on Tuesday (August 1) in the UK.
“We are obviously ecstatic and incredibly humbled by our award today,” Liam said. “We have an incredible team of people around us who have helped us achieve this and above all we would like to thank our fans. We owe all our success to them.”
The band, who just turned two-years-old, is currently writing and recording their forthcoming second album!
