Zayn Malik Injured After Partying With Justin Bieber

The 19-year-old Zayn Malik hobbled into Los Angeles'LAX airport on Saturday on crutches after partying a bit too hard at the MTV VMA's lat Thursday night. 

Rumoured to have hurt his foot while out at Justin Bieber's place, Zayn looked a tad fragile trailing behind Niall. 

Always keeping the fans in mind, Zayn quickly allayed fans' worries about the health .

"Hey guys, just to let you all know I'm all good, no need to worry aha, just wanna take a moment to thank you guys for being so amazing," Zayn tweeted overnight.

"I've said it so many times but I'll say it agian, you are really the best fans in the world. Thank you for being so incredible. Love you all :)," he added a moment later.

After the VMAs, in which One Direction scored three awards, Zayn tweeted a picture of him and Niall spending quality time with the Beebs. 

One Direction Barge In Rihanna's Party At Video Music Awards

There may have been no signature moment at this year's MTV VMA, but there was a signature sound: the screams of teenagers girls wild about One Direction..

The hunky teens in the boy band won three awards on Thursday night's show and barged in on Rihanna's party.

Rihanna kicked off things with a spicy performance to open Thursday night's show, then ended it by taking the show's top honor, video of the year, for her steamy hit "We Found Love."

"Doesn't my girl Rihanna look sexy tonight?" Katy Perry asked the crowd after the performance.

And the night's lead nominee did, showing up in a pixie cut and a figure-hugging, elegant scoop-backed white dress before changing into a flowing red outfit for her medley of new single "Cockiness(I Love It)" with rapper A$AP Rocky and "We Found Love." 

"We've grown up watching this show and to even be here is an honor," Niall Horan said from the stage.

One Direction Are Ready And Are Excited For 2012 MTV VMA!!

One Directiton have arrived in LA for their debut performance tonight.

The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards just got real, because One Direction gave arrived.

The boys of 1D have been rehearsing for their performance at the VMAs, which is tonight (6th Sepetember.)

Harry Styles told MTV News,"I think people should expect just a massive show from the VMAs this year.If you look at the people who are performing, there are some massive, massive stars."

"It should be a great show, and we can't wait to perform. It's aour first time, so it should be fun."

Liam Payne said: "We're excited. We actually saw the performance yesterday for the first time and I think we all agree it's going to be one of our much bigger performances and we're really excited for it."

"Obviously we know the VMAs are a huge deal where history's made and people do different things to stand out, so we're hoping to have our performance really stand out."

One Direction UK Win Against One Direction Us

One Direction UK won a legal dispute over the right to keep using their band name.

The US group of the same name challenged the UK  boyband earlier this year, saying that they had called themselves One Direction first. 

One Direction US will now be known as Uncharted Shores, while the UK group will remain as One Direction.

The two groups issued a press release announcing the change of hte American band's name.

It stated that both groups were happy with the outcome.

One Direction US sued the British  band dor $1 million in damages and asked for a share of the The X Factor stars' royalties.

The American group told Newsbeat that they had received hate mail and death threats from the fans of One Direction UK.

New Album Cover Of One Direction

One Direction have released the cover for their new album,'Take Me Home', which features the boys playing around a red British phone box.

'Take Me Home' sees One Direction collaborating with writers and producers and as well as reuniting with the likes of Rami Yacoub Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, Ed Sheeran and Mc Fly's Tom Fletcher, it also features input from Dr Luke, Shellback and Toby Gad.

The Boys are excited about the album and Liam tweeted: ' So pleased to tell yoi that our new album is called 'take me home' can't wait for you to hear it! More news sooon!

The first single form the album 'Live While We're Young' will premiere on radio stations worldwide on Monday 24 September.

It will be released on 30 September in the UK and 1 October in the USA and Canada and has already been released via pre-order last week and it immediately became the fastest selling pre-order single in history.

One Direction Get Exited For Their 'First Time' At VMAs

 

On Thursday night, all five guys of One Direction sat down for the "One Direction: My First Time" special, not only excitedly looking future and their VMA performance on September 6, but also recalling some of the greatest first-time performance from this year's other performances.

The show kicked off by remembering Rihanna's star-making first time back in 2007, when she performed her track "Shut up and Drive." Liam Payne asked, "Don't you think it's so weird to be put in the same category as Rihanna?" 

Green Day are set to take the stage this year, but they first performed on the show the same year Harry Styles was born, back in 1994."We're supposed to play 'Basket Case,' but we snuck in that song 'cause we wanted to put new song in," Bellie Joe Armstrong said. We're being a little bit rebellious."

With so many performance leaving such an great mark on the show's history, Niall said,"I'm really excited to add our name to the history books  when we perform at this year's VMAs."

Kanye West showed the world what he was made of back in 2004, when he spit his moving "Jesus Walks."

One Direction Announces New Album Title 'Take Me Home'

One Direction's announcement that their new album will be called 'Take Me Home'. has got some sassy tweets from the boy band's fans.

Band member Louis Tomlinson tweeted confirmation of the title on Wednesday, saying, "So pleased to tell you that our new album is called Take Me Home. Can't wait for you to hear it! More news soon!"

Naturally, it didn't take long for the boys' six million-plus followers to tweet their support for the suggestive name.

"One Direction: Take Me Home: If you insist,: wrote a fan.

"One Direction. you can take me home any time you like," tweeted another fan.

The boys' second album is rumoured to be released on November 9 and will feature 12 tracks and four videos.

Some of the twitter followers' made cheeky connections between the two album names. 

"Take Me Home + Up All Night = Take Me All Night... sounds sexual.."one fan posted.

Others were a little more tongue-in-cheek.

"

"'Up All Night', 'Take Me Home'. Watch, the next album will be 'Wake Me Up' or 'Get Me Breakfast'," wrote another fan.

The yearbook-inspired cover art for the album (see below) was reportedly published on iTunes Australia by accident last week before being hastily taken down.
